Telegram backup we told our friends and family that we were going to Iceland they said "why, what is there to see". Since we returned we have not stopped talking about our trip and showing photos of this incredibly beautiful country such a long way from Australia. I proudly wear my "Iceland. We had a wonderful time in Iceland and thought that the whole trip was organised very well indeed. The documentation supplied was excellent and we felt like we were travelling independently but with the full support of experienced local people. Iceland was amazing and as you travel around the coast the scenery just seems to get better and better and we found our vocabulary constantly consisted of words like stunning, beautiful, fantastic and wow. Thank you for a superb trip.

It was the most amazing trip we've ever had. Jelena at Nordic Visitor made it flawless and catered it to our likings. It all started at the Airport where we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who had a sign with our names on it.

He drove us to our hotel at Reykjavik, told us stories about Iceland and of course gave us our travelling package. A very nice blue bag, that we used through our trip to keep our maps and memories together, had a big map with our route and things to see highlighted, a beautiful book with all the places to see, tons of good information, itinerary with addresses and phone numbers for hotels and a telephone, that was very useful, when our car broke down away from the main road.

We were back on the road in less than two hours. Local mechanic was nice and we got to try some hot dogs at the local gas station, which you need to try, hot dogs are the best ever!. You also need to try Icelandic Burgers, they are great!.

Buy them fresh almost at any gas station. Local meat soup, meat products and charr are great. Keep in mind that smoked means really smoked, almost like chewing on a burning stick. Everything worth a try though. Local milk products are flavorful and awesome!. There are many things to see in Iceland and we wish we would spend more time there. We needed at least couple more days to really enjoy places that we loved.

The scenery changes every 100 ft and all of it is beautiful. Iceland is very photogenic!. Renting 4x4 is a good idea, it gets you places easier.I learned a lot and have even applied what I've learned in this course to the other course I'm enrolled in currently. Thank you for the great notes and text. The course helped me learn Tableau and some of the effective Visualization techniques.

I really liked the detailed assignments with hints and steps required to perform some of the tasks. The book for this course is very good. Everything is explained in a really clear way. Films are great too and help in understanding issues. I very much enjoyed the Stats 1 and 2 classes, and I think your book and approach really are excellent. I have taken a variety of stats-type classes, including calculus-based probability, but the re-sampling gave me a much more intuitive understanding than any other approach.

I certainly feel that I got my money's worth from this course and this was almost entirely due to the prompt, thoughtful and expert comments of Brady and Andrzej.

I liked the way this course is presented. In every assignment we needed to think logically to produce the required plots and that's what I liked.

The lecture notes were clear and concise. The instructor did a great job in covering many different topics in such a short course.

This course definitely adds another dimension to my map visualization capabilities other than just relying on QGIS. I greatly appreciated learning about SEM from a foremost expert of the subject. I now have a more thorough understanding of SEM from theoretical and practical perspectives.

I found this a very good grounding the the statistical theory, but also there were good discussions about some of the practical issues.

The introduction to the various software packages was also very helpful. Every professor has unique and great qualities in them and the unique and great quality that I found in Prof Anthony Babinec is that he can write pages of explanation for each and every line in the book. He is an awesome professor. He explained each and every doubts we had to the perfection. I feel this class gave me a much better understanding of how to design experiments and enhanced my statistical vocabulary.

One thing I liked about Mr. Babinec's approach was that his written explanations were precise. Overall, I enjoyed the class and it was well worth the time spent. Instructor John Verzani provided timely and detailed responses to each and every question posted on the forum. His depth of knowledge in both statistics and R and his passion for teaching are the major contribution to the success of this class. I took this class out of general curiosity and the fact that it used Python, which is increasingly attractive to me in building my own software tools.

To my delighted surprise I found the course to be one of the very best (out of more than 20) I have taken at Statistics. It proved a harmonious blend of theory (buttressed by relevant reading and videos by the instructor), focused homework exercises, and training in Python coding. As a result I learned much and enjoyed the process greatly.

I was particularly impressed with the instructor's choice of homework assignments, which fascinated me, and with the importance he placed in students writing clear, even elegant, Python code. It also shows consumers are more likely to spend more to indulge themselves and more likely to try new technology. While their consumption choices have become more individualistic, though, it is important to note that family values continue to be at the top of their priorities (Exhibit 3).

One area our predictions missed, however, was by anticipating that consumers, as they became more individualistic in their choices, might focus less on basic product reliability and safety.

Perhaps in part because of a number of more recent food scandals, however, consumers seemed more concerned with these issues in 2015 than they were before. When our team first started researching Chinese consumers, nearly ten years ago, many of us were surprised by their fickle attitude toward brands.

Fewer than half of consumers tended to stick with their favorite brands, compared, for example, with almost three quarters of US consumers. As we debated this tendency while making our predictions, we wondered if, in the clash between pragmatism and individualism, brand loyalty would stay low, increase, or even decline. Ultimately, we decided it would increase as the emotional benefits of brands became more important to consumers and as increased choice and availability of branded products (online and off) would allow consumers to optimize for price and convenience without changing choices too often.

Our recent research confirmed the changes we anticipated. Consumers are now significantly less likely to buy a brand that is not already among their favorites, continuing the upward trend we observed in 2011 (Exhibit 4). The modern shopper Our 2011 predictions were bullish on e-commerce, predicting that Chinese consumers would adapt their channel choices even faster than has occurred in developed markets.

We estimated that by 2020, online consumer-electronics purchases would jump to 40 percent, from about 10 percent. More mainstream categories would rise to 15 percent, and some categories, such as groceries (now below 1 percent), could reach about 10 percent. These changes are occurring even as the enduring pragmatism and diligence of the Chinese consumer continue to be in place. Our latest research shows that consumers of all age groups are much more likely to collect information online, even on fast-moving consumer goods, than they were just three years ago.

In 2015, online food and beverages sales (excluding fresh) reached 7. The online share of consumer-electronic purchases, meanwhile, has reached a whopping 39 percent in 2015, and it now looks possible that by 2020 it will be about 50 percent of overall sales.
